To say that Max Jackson has a song in her heart would be an understatement.
The talented singer/songwriter has penned tracks for some of Australia’s finest performers, with her work gaining overseas recognition, as well as a publishing deal with Sydney’s Reservoir Records.
Originally from Coonamble in western New South Wales, Max is a graduate of both the Talent Development Project (TDP), Australia’s most respected entertainment industry training program – And the Academy of Country Music.
As well as performing and touring with some of Australia’s biggest stars, Max has been focusing heavily on songwriting in recent times and has co-written with the likes of Rod McCormack, Whitney Duncan (USA), Max T. Barnes (USA), Lyn Bowtell and Gina Jeffreys.
She has co-written no fewer than eight of the tracks on Gina Jeffreys’ upcoming album, Unravel, and also wrote Hollywood, the single release for exciting new Pop/Rock band The Million.
Australia’s Got Talent runner-up Greg Gould was quick to recognise Max’s talents and has just recorded another of her songs, I Want You.
After a successful songwriting trip overseas in 2014, writing and rubbing shoulders with some of Nashville’s finest, Max is now looking forward to heading back to the United States in July with Reservoir’s Head of A&R, Gem McCormack.
Max looks forward to adding more titles and accolades to her already impressive catalogue.
